Scenarios for the use of marine drones will be tested in Sakhalin

Participants will hone their skills in hydrographic surveying and rescue operations

As part of the "Archipelago 2024" project and educational forum in Sakhalin in July, various scenarios for the use of marine drones will be tested. This was reported by the press service of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) platform.

The "Marine Drones" track at the forum is divided into a practical part for practicing and demonstrating the use of drones, as well as a series of strategic and expert sessions. They will discuss the demand for marine robotic platforms in the economy.

As part of the practical part on Lake Tunaycha on July 11 and 12, participants will demonstrate the performance of search and rescue operations, localization and removal of debris from the water surface, hydrographic surveying and navigation charting, and surveying sunken objects.
