The Moscow Department of Information Technologies announced a new platform for developing and training AI models. In just a few months of its operation, the Russian capital has developed and implemented 79 AI-based solutions: chatbots, support service request classifiers, and other services.
The first results were shown at the Moscow Government's booth at the CIPR conference in Nizhny Novgorod. According to the DIT, the system is built on its own innovations and open-source components, and does not depend on third-party software vendors. It has:
- an environment for writing code, training and testing programs, a data and task template repository, a results database, and a number of other elements;
- the ability for several teams of IT specialists to work simultaneously on one platform;
- the MosGPT algorithm-moderator, which monitors the correctness of neural network responses to user questions.
More functions are expected from MosGPT. For example, it will be able to create new useful services for citizens using generative AI technologies. For example, the technology's capabilities are already being tested to optimize search on Moscow portals, improve chatbots and city assistants.
