Путин считает, что эксперименты на NICA позволят двигать прогресс на благо человечества

Experiments on the NICA collider in Dubna near Moscow will help advance progress for the benefit of all mankind and make world-class discoveries. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with students of Harbin Polytechnic University in China.

I am absolutely sure that experiments on this collider will advance scientific and technological progress not only in Russia and China, but also make truly world-class discoveries.
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia

The construction of the Russian NICA collider at the Laboratory of High Energy Physics named after V. I. Veksler and A. M. Baldin of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna will be completed in 2024. This is a cyclic accelerator for colliding heavy ions and protons. One of the main elements of the collider is superconducting magnets for focusing and holding particles. The construction of the collider has been underway since 2013.

Putin was in China on a working visit on May 16-17. At the EXPO exhibition in Harbin, he was shown advanced butterfly drones.
