AvtoVAZ has improved the design of ball joints on Largus

The part's lifespan has reached 100,000 kilometers, the unit has become removable

AvtoVAZ has eliminated a design flaw in the ball joints of the Lada Largus car. Now the joint can be replaced separately from the lever, and its lifespan has been increased to 100,000 kilometers. Previously, the joints failed after approximately 40,000 kilometers.

In 2024 cars, the design uses a removable unit with a locking ring and pin. It is compatible with the Vesta ball joint. Now the ball joint does not need to be replaced together with the lever, as it was before.

Auto experts note the high reliability of the Largus suspension. Stabilizer struts and bushings last up to 100,000 kilometers, and suspension overhaul is required after about 150,000 kilometers.

As a reminder, AvtoVAZ has restarted mass production of Largus in Izhevsk. The cars should appear at dealers in the coming weeks. The starting price for the passenger version starts from 1,660,000 rubles, and the commercial van is 10,000 cheaper.
