LADA Largus production has been launched in Izhevsk. Before the full-scale start of the assembly line, cars were assembled in test mode for several weeks.
The cars should appear on sale within a few weeks. The starting price, i.e., the manufacturer's recommended price, for the passenger version is 1,660,000 rubles. The commercial van will cost 1,670,000 rubles.
The first cars will only be available in the Classic configuration. They will be equipped with both 8-valve and 16-valve engines. Later, the production of Largus in the Comfort version will be established.
VAZ employees invested in the modernization of production. The dynamic testing stands were calibrated on the assembly line, and 13 robots were installed to paint the Largus. In the press production, 13 stamped parts were mastered, including fenders, hood, roof, and body sides.
The Izhevsk plant plans to produce from 30,000 to 50,000 cars. This number will include not only the usual gasoline Largus for Russians, but also cars with an electric motor.
As a reminder, the last batch of Largus was produced in August 2023 in Togliatti, then production was moved to Izhevsk.
