New photos of the "Moskvich 8" crossover have appeared, the production and sales launch of which will start this year. The car was shown to journalists during a visit by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin to the plant.
"Moskvich 8" is a seven-seater crossover. In China, the car is known as JAC Sehol X8 Plus.
At the plant, which switched to full-cycle car production, a new production line was launched. "Moskvich" of the eighth model will be assembled on it. It is equipped with 50 welding stations and allows welding bodies for cars, both with electric motors and with internal combustion engines.
The production capacity of this line is designed for 13 bodies per hour. Dmitry Yatsko, head of the welding department of the plant, said that in the future it will be possible to weld up to 100 bodies.
