Production of wall-mounted charging stations for electric vehicles launched in Russia

They are designed for use in covered parking lots of residential complexes

The company "National Charging Systems", part of the "Rusclimat" holding, has launched the production of charging stations for electric vehicles. The devices are built into the wall. They can be used in covered parking lots of residential buildings.

Free stations in the parking lot can be synchronized with each other so that the electric vehicle charges faster. The devices are protected from unauthorized access.

Charging stations are produced in the Udmurt city of Sarapul. The plan for 2024 is to produce more than three thousand devices.

How many electric passenger cars and charging stations are there in Russia?

There are no official statistics on the number of charging stations for electric vehicles in Russia. However, the analytical agency "Autostat", together with the 2Charges service, estimated that as of December 2023, 3783 public electric charging stations were installed in the country.

The Russian authorities plan to put 4643 charging stations into operation in 2024. Of these, 1437 will be fast (with a capacity of 50 kilowatts or more) and 3206 will be slow (up to 50 kilowatts).
