Aurus cars will continue to be assembled at the plant in Yelabuga

The sale of Sollers' stake in the premium car project will not affect the technological partnership between the companies

Aurus will continue painting and welding bodies at the Sollers technological site in Yelabuga. The plant will remain an industrial partner of the project, despite the fact that Sollers sold its stake in Aurus.

In April, Sollers transferred 0.5% of its stake in Aurus LLC to Hit Motors Rus and ceased to be part of the owners of the premium car manufacturer. The main share of Aurus belongs to the state through FSUE NAMI, which owns 63.5%, and 36% to the Tawazun fund from the United Arab Emirates.

It is worth recalling that the Senat limousines and Komendant SUVs are assembled at the plant in Yelabuga. In addition, Aurus acquired a technological site in St. Petersburg. This is the former Toyota plant.
