UAS station based on the "Protos" center will appear in the Ryazan region

The research and production center will operate as part of the development of the Aerospace Innovation Valley

The "Protos" research and production center will appear at the Protasovo airfield in the Ryazan region. In 2024, a station for testing and manufacturing components for drones will be built on its territory, said the governor of the region, Pavel Malkov.

The project is being implemented as part of the Aerospace Innovation Valley. It is located in the buildings of the former communications school in Ryazan. It is also planned to open a technology park in the village of Varskiye.

Aerospace Innovation Valley is projects in the field of:

  • aerospace technologies
  • biomedical technologies
  • information technologies
  • electronics
  • radio engineering

60 companies have become residents of the valley, a third of which are from Ryazan. One of the main directions of the valley is UAS, with 17 companies working in this area. The project is being implemented with the support of Roscosmos, Rostec, MAI and the Russian government.

Earlier, a technology park of the "Beshtau" company appeared in the south of Russia.
