The "Protos" research and production center will appear at the Protassovo airfield in the Ryazan region. In 2024, a station will be built on its territory for testing and manufacturing components for drones, said the governor of the region, Pavel Malkov.
The project is being implemented as part of the Aerospace Innovation Valley. It is located in the buildings of the former communications school in Ryazan. It is also planned to open a technology park in the village of Varskiye.

60 companies have become residents of the valley, a third of which are from Ryazan. One of the main areas of the valley is BAS, in which 17 companies operate. The project is being implemented with the support of Roscosmos, Rostec, MAI and the Russian government.
Earlier, a technology park of the "Beshtau" company appeared in the south of Russia.
