The price of the LADA Vesta NG car has increased by an average of 200,000 rubles in a year. This refers to the Life and Enjoy versions.
At the start of sales in May 2023, the car in the Life configuration cost 1,400,000 rubles. A year after sales started, such a car can be purchased for 1,591,000 rubles. The difference is 191,900 rubles. The Vesta in the Enjoy version has increased in price by 209 thousand rubles. In May 2023, it cost 1,447,000 rubles, now it costs 1,656,000 rubles.
The price increase is not only due to inflation. At the start of sales, the AvtoVAZ flagship was equipped with an eight-valve 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 90 horsepower. Now, the Vesta in the Life and Enjoy trim levels is sold with a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 106 horsepower.
Recall that the mass production of the 1.6-liter engine began in the fall of last year. The engine is fuel-efficient. Thus, the Vesta with a manual transmission consumes 7.3 liters in a combined cycle (city + highway)
Earlier, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, stated that LADA models will soon rise in price by an average of 3%. He stressed that there had been no price increase since November last year.
