The Osa anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) provides air cover for military personnel. It destroys Furia, Leleka, and Baba Yaga strike and reconnaissance drones on approach, according to one of the soldiers with the call sign Irkut.
According to him, the Osa air defense system copes with drones of various masses, covering artillery guns and command posts from them. The search for targets is carried out on the march, after which the complex captures it in the air and destroys it.
Irkut added that enemy drones can work in pairs — a repeater and a scout, or in trios — a repeater, a scout and a strike drone. After completing the combat mission, the Osa air defense system crew promptly changes its position.
Earlier, the Kornet ATGM destroyed a heavy Baba Yaga drone to smithereens.
