Car for the President: Aurus Senat Underwent Changes for Putin's Inauguration

The updated Aurus Senat limousine, in which Vladimir Putin travels, was presented to the public ahead of the presidential inauguration. The car received a new radiator grille. The car has a redesigned front and rear parts of the body, and a digital rearview mirror appeared in the cabin.

The premium limousine received new adaptive headlights, and the design of the rear lights has also changed. In addition to other front and rear parts of the body, the car has a lightweight hood made of aluminum alloy.

The most interesting changes occurred in the car's interior. The ergonomics of the driver and passenger seats have been improved. The car's front panel has become T-shaped. A large touch screen is located on the console. The steering wheel has changed, and the gearbox has a new selector. The rearview mirror has become digital.

The car manufacturers have updated the NAMI MM-System multimedia system and equipped the limousine with a new acoustic system. Aurus Senat received surround view cameras and a night vision system.

Engineers have improved the fuel delivery system, made the brakes more effective, and made changes to the suspension design.

Contrary to rumors, the Aurus Senat has not changed its engine. It is still equipped with a 4.4 V8 biturbo engine with 598 horsepower, working in tandem with an electric motor. The automatic transmission is nine-speed, and the drive is permanent all-wheel drive.

The restyled version will go on sale in 2025. It will not have the armor that is due to the president's car. So far, the restyled Aurus are produced only for the Special Purpose Garage.
