The KMZ military-industrial holding (Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant) has signed contracts to supply 300 boats to Russian security forces over three years, according to Mikhail Danilenko, the company's managing director.
The contracts concern patrol boats for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian National Guard, and the FSB of Russia. According to Danilenko, the volume of orders under the contracts is approaching 300 units, and its total value will reach 3 billion rubles.
Danilenko emphasized that the shipbuilding industry in Russia has begun to rise, including the small-sized fleet.

In 2023, KMZ supplied the Russian National Guard with 6 Afalina boats and the Ministry of Emergency Situations with 42 PK-500 boats. According to the plan for the current year, the holding will build 150 boats for Russian security agencies.
Earlier, the PK-500 was shown at an exhibition in St. Petersburg, and security forces from Asian and African countries showed interest in the boat.
