In the first three months of 2024, Kalashnikov increased the production of civilian goods by 50%. The production of military goods also increased at the group's enterprises. Total revenue increased by 37% compared to the same period last year.
The increase in production volumes at Kalashnikov's enterprises was made possible thanks to an investment program and the expansion of production facilities. By the end of the year, it is planned to create an additional 120 jobs and purchase 450 units of modern equipment.
The company entered 2024 with full confidence in its capabilities, receiving even more orders than in 2023. The tasks before us are very ambitious, but I am confident that the team will cope, and together we will ensure their implementation.
The largest increase was recorded in the machine tool division. The production of 250 ITVM turning and screw-cutting lathes more than doubled compared to the first quarter of 2023.
The production of combat small arms increased by 9%, ammunition and guided missiles by 13%. The group also began shipping an improved version of the AK-12 assault rifle to customers.
