Directly from Russia to India: The first "Agroexpress" with goods is already on its way

It is planned to increase the volume of cargo transportation on this route

The company "RZD Logistics" (part of the State Transport Leasing Company — GTLK) has launched "Agroexpress" from the "South Ural" transport and logistics center in the Chelyabinsk region to India. The train, carrying cereals and oatmeal, set off along the eastern route of the "North — South" corridor.

The express train will pass through the territory of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The first stop on the way is Sarakhs. There, 31 twenty-foot containers are waiting to switch to the European gauge of 1435 mm for further travel through Iran. From the port of Bender Abbas, the cargo will be delivered by sea to the port of Mundra (India) — this is the final point of the route.

Russian exporters plan to increase trade volumes in the coming years. According to experts, already in 2025, the total volume of cargo transportation on this route alone may reach 100 thousand tons.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that in Russia a RailJet service will appear for the accelerated delivery of goods from China to Russia.
