The utilization fee for certain categories of special equipment will increase in Russia from July 1. The increase will range from 41% to 2.5 times. An exception is made for crawler tractors used in agricultural work.
The utilization fee for new loaders will increase by 2.3 times, requiring a payment of up to 1.8 million rubles. For some used dump trucks older than three years used off-road, the fee will increase by 41.8%, up to 12.5 million rubles.
For new dump trucks with a capacity of 200 to 650 horsepower, the utilization fee will increase by 41% to 8.5 million rubles. Twice as much will have to be paid for the utilization fee for new dump trucks with a capacity of 650 to 1750 horsepower — 14.4 million rubles, and the same used equipment will cost 20.7 million rubles in utilization fees.
The utilization fee for new dump trucks with a capacity of more than 1750 horsepower will be 24 million rubles, an increase of 2.3 times. For the same used vehicles, the utilization fee will be 29.3 million rubles, an increase of 2.5 times.
In addition, the utilization fee will increase for heavy bulldozers with a capacity of 600 to 800 horsepower. The Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasizes that this refers to equipment manufactured by the "Tractor Plants" concern last year. The fee for it will be 5 million rubles for new machines, and 22.4 million rubles for equipment older than three years.
The government also established a uniform coefficient for the utilization fee for crawler tractors and crawler bulldozers. This is because crawler bulldozers were often registered as crawler tractors. The increase in the utilization fee will not affect crawler tractors used in agricultural work.
It should be remembered that the utilization fee is a tax that manufacturers or importers pay for a vehicle imported into Russia or manufactured on its territory.
