Smart sight and thermal imager: MC-566 sniper rifles sent to troops ahead of schedule

The batch of self-loading rifles was produced by employees of TsKIB SOO

The Central Design and Research Bureau of Sporting and Hunting Weapons (TsKIB SOO) of the High-Precision Complexes holding has sent a batch of MC-566 sniper rifles to the troops ahead of schedule.

The company produces self-loading sniper rifles for the NATO .308 Win cartridge. The MC-566 has proven itself well in combat. The weapon helps various units of the Russian Armed Forces to carry out fire missions.

The first batches of MC-566 entered the Russian military in the spring of 2022. The soldiers highly appreciated the technical characteristics of the weapon. Sniper rifles are also used by the Airborne Forces special forces.
