Instead of Toyota Camry: Russian military switches to Chinese premium

Black Hongqi H9 sedans with military license plates spotted on the streets of Moscow

Chinese premium cars Hongqi H9 with black license plates have appeared on the roads of Moscow. The cars, costing from 7.8 million rubles, with the letters MO on the license plates, belong to the motor depot of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. The license plates on the two Hongqi H9s could have been transferred from Toyota Camry cars, which were used previously.

Hongqi H9 is a business sedan from FAW. The car is equipped with a two-liter engine and a robotic transmission. The drive is only rear.

The Chinese car is similar in size to the extended BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, but is shorter than the Toyota Camry. The "Japanese woman" has a length of 4885 mm, and the Chinese sedan - 5.1 mm.

The premium car can be ordered with "limousine inserts" and a two-tone body,

It should be noted that the Ministry of Defense is not the only state structure whose employees are switching to Hongqi H9. Such cars have already been spotted at the Federal Security Service at the "Russia - Africa" forum.

Earlier www1.ru wrote about how an electric Hongqi E-HS9 appeared in the capital's FSB car park instead of the "Moskvich".
