Шойгу представили более 30 перспективных образцов вооружения в центре «Патриот»

The head of the Ministry of Defense checked the development of robotic systems

The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, checked the implementation of instructions for the development of robotic systems and advanced weapons systems, taking into account combat experience. At the Patriot Exhibition Center, he was shown more than 30 promising weapons samples from 18 enterprises.

What was shown at Patriot:

  • multipurpose robotic transport (as a fire platform or for delivering supplies, evacuating the wounded)
  • robotic multifunctional platforms (wheeled and tracked chassis)
  • special vehicles

Shoigu evaluated the promising ground-based medical robotic complex. According to him, it is extremely in demand in combat operations. The Minister set the task for engineers to refine and send the complex into series production.

Such machines should enter the troops as soon as possible and should be as cheap as possible

In addition, developers, on behalf of Shoigu, will equip the multipurpose robotic fire support complex with machine guns. Such complexes can be used during assaults.

The Minister was informed about the development of a promising wearable complex for automating artillery fire control. With its help, military personnel will be able to quickly transmit target coordinates to artillery crews.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces will receive UAVs with artificial intelligence.
