A master electrician from the repair and restoration unit of the Russian Armed Forces, call sign Kamaz, demonstrated the testing of an unmanned transporter for delivering ammunition and provisions. The new transport can cover a distance of up to 12 km and carry a load of up to 150 kg.
The wheeled unmanned vehicle, which reaches speeds of up to 20 km/h, is controlled by an operator using a joystick. The movement of the vehicle is practically unnoticeable due to its compactness.
The repair and restoration unit has assembled 8 of these all-wheel-drive unmanned transporters. 5 units are currently operational.
Currently, the transporter supplies military personnel with everything they need and is also suitable for transporting the wounded. In the future, the inventors plan to install small arms on it and use it as a platform for fire support.
Earlier, the company "Argo" showed the Triton amphibious all-terrain vehicle, which can be used for crossing rivers.
