Footage of the flights of the new drone platform "Pchelka", which is in the arsenal of the Russian military, has appeared online.
"Pchelka" is a hybrid of an airplane and a quadcopter with the possibility of vertical take-off and landing. This is a platform for lifting many copters into the air without catapults and transferring them to the area of the task. Near the target, the drones separate from the platform, and it, like a queen bee, controls their swarm, turning into a signal repeater for FPV drones, helping to increase their operating radius, and making them independent of the distance to the operator.
The technical characteristics of "Pchelka" are unknown, as is the range at which FPV drones can operate with its support. It is only known that it has an internal combustion engine.
