Стало известно, почему отменили запуск корабля «Союз МС-25»

The launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome was postponed by Roscosmos to March 23

The head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, announced the reasons for the cancellation of the launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Earlier today, March 21, almost immediately before the start, an automatic launch cancellation was announced during the final countdown.

According to Borisov, an "abnormal situation" occurred at the final stage of pre-launch preparation. The State Commission found that "the reason was a voltage drop in the chemical current source."

The cosmonauts are being evacuated from the spacecraft, after which the launch complex will be returned to its original position. Then the State Commission will conduct a detailed analysis of the reasons for canceling the launch procedure.

So far, there is no talk of canceling the launch. Preparations are beginning for another date - in two days. All this time, the cosmonauts and their backups will be in quarantine.

We have a reserve date scheduled - March 23, 15:36:10 Moscow time

The main crew of the international crew of Soyuz MS-25 with the call sign "Kazbek" is Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, and space flight participant from the Republic of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya. Roscosmos cosmonaut Ivan Wagner, NASA astronaut Donald Pettit, and space flight participant from the Republic of Belarus Anastasia Lenkova have been designated as backups.

It is known that the military is monitoring the safety of the launch and landing of Soyuz MS spacecraft on board. Representatives of the medical service of the Central Military District of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and the search and rescue team of the aviation association of the Aerospace Forces of Russia are participating in the preparation of launches and landings. They arrived in Kazakhstan on the eve of the launch, on March 20, and, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, took up duty in operational areas.

Their goal is to first ensure the safe launch of Soyuz MS-25. Next comes the regrouping and change of tasks: ensuring the safe landing of Soyuz MS-24 in twelve days with Novitsky, Vasilevskaya, and NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara on board.
