Rostec Implements a Platform for Monitoring the Condition of Expectant Mothers in Medical Institutions

Roselectronics will connect fetal monitors (devices for monitoring the fetal heartbeat in the womb) to the digital platform "Personal Medical Assistants." They will allow remote monitoring of the condition of pregnant women. The project will launch in several regions of Russia in the spring, including Moscow.

Participants in the monitoring will be issued:

  1. Tonometers
  2. Glucometers
  3. Fetal monitors

How the "Personal Medical Assistants" Platform Works

The devices are integrated with the platform through solutions based on the Industrial Internet of Things technology IIoT.Istok – IoMT.Istok, which involves data exchange between them. The technology was developed by specialists at NPP "Istok" named after Shokin" (part of Roselectronics).

The results of measuring blood glucose levels, heart rate of the mother and child will be sent to the "Personal Medical Assistants" platform, and from there to the information system of the medical institution to which the woman is assigned. Thus, the doctor will be able to constantly monitor her condition.

The platform was launched in 2023 to monitor the health of Russians with chronic diseases, including diabetes and arterial hypertension. Currently, more than 37,000 medical devices are connected to it.

In March 2024, the "Mother and Child" hospital in Moscow, the "Mother and Child" clinic in Yaroslavl, as well as medical institutions in the Astrakhan and Vladimir regions, Altai, Bashkortostan and Yakutia will be connected to it.
