At the Nakhimov Naval School (Sevastopol), a combined-action warhead has been developed, designed to engage various targets, including air defense systems and operational-tactical missile systems (OTRK). Specialists have already received a patent for their invention.
Characteristics of the new warhead
The patent materials state that the model relates to destructive-incendiary-electromagnetic action means of destruction.
The warhead consists of:
- metal body
- layer of explosive substance with incendiary elements
- explosive-magnetic cumulative generator
The development is designed to engage military equipment with elements of electronic warfare and fuel-saturated materials. This includes airplanes, helicopters, and SAM systems.
The model presented by the Nakhimov cadets can be installed on artillery shells of 100 mm and 130 mm calibers, as well as on guided and unguided missiles. It will expand the combat capabilities of existing ammunition and missiles.
