A group of master's students from the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) has developed an innovative mobile application called "Blizko". The domestic development is designed to replace dating in the style of Tinder, [the American application left Russia in July last year as a result of sanctions and announced the cessation of full access in Belarus from tomorrow, — editor's note], providing the opportunity to meet people nearby.
Imagine you are in a park, shopping center, at an exhibition, concert, or any other place, and you want to meet someone nearby right now. Finding interesting people and taking the first step online is easier than in real life. Our application will help with this.
In the application, the user can view profiles of people within a radius of one kilometer and express their interest by liking or sending the first message. Communication takes place in a chat, and if mutual interest persists, users can decide to meet.
What makes the "Blizko" application unique among its analogues is the dynamic profile update functionality. It allows the application to continue searching for interesting candidates for dating even in the background, allowing users to go about their business while the application finds suitable interlocutors.
