Russian engineers have received a patent for an industrial design of a "Control Vehicle on a Tank Chassis", as confirmed by materials from the website of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
The combat vehicle is based on one of the best Russian serial tanks - the T-90M "Proryv", as evidenced by the road wheels and details of the hull's stern. It is likely that the vehicle will receive an equally powerful engine.
Experts also provided reliable protection by placing "reactive armor" (reacts to impact to reduce damage to the tank -note from www1.ru editors) on the front and sides of the vehicle.
The images show a remotely controlled machine gun mount, which, apparently, is similar to the one installed on the UBIM produced by UVZ. A 12.7 mm caliber machine gun is also provided for engaging ground and air targets.
The control vehicle has more than a dozen different antennas. There are three hatches on the roof, including one for the driver-mechanic.
The manufacturer of theT-90M tank (T-90 modernization) is UVZ. The company assembles combat vehicles with a boosted V-92S2F engine with a power of 1130 hp and, after testing, supplies them to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
