First new Russian-Chinese "dump trucks" assembled under Italian IVECO patents

The first batch of trucks for transporting granite has been sent to the customer

Chelyabinsk AMT N.V. has produced and sent to the customer the first batch of Russian-Chinese heavy-duty dump trucks with patents from the Italian manufacturer IVECO. Previously, the company's automotive products were known in Russia under the IVECO AMT brand.

Unlike a number of competitors, AMT N.V. quarry trucks have a driver; the manufacturer has not yet joined the trend towards unmanned vehicles. <br>

After the Italians left Russia, SAIC Hongyan replaced them in partnership with Russian automakers, but some parts are still produced under the IVECO brand. The name has also changed.

The new quarry dump truck is a four-axle vehicle weighing 50,100 kg with a 480 horsepower engine. The dump truck body has a capacity of 23 cubic meters and is made of high-strength steel with a thickness of 10 mm. It has heating.

The first batch of such machines has already been sent to the customer. However, the new manufacturers already have well-established competitors. These are, at a minimum, diesel Belarusian BelAZ and promising unmanned "dump trucks" from KamAZ - both a promising ICE-free one and the already tested KamAZ-6559, also known as "Jupiter 30".
