"Chelyabinsk AMT N.V." has produced and sent to the customer the first batch of Russian-Chinese heavy-duty dump trucks with patents from the Italian manufacturer IVECO. Previously, the company's automotive products were known in Russia under the IVECO AMT brand.
After the Italians left Russia, SAIC Hongyan replaced them in partnership with Russian automakers, but some parts are still produced under the IVECO brand. The name has also changed.
The new mining dump truck is a four-axle vehicle weighing 50,100 kg with a 480-horsepower engine. The dump truck body has a capacity of 23 cubic meters and is made of high-strength steel with a thickness of 10 mm. It has heating.
The first batch of such machines has already been sent to the customer. However, the new manufacturers already have well-established competitors. These are, at a minimum, diesel Belarusian BelAZ and promising unmanned "dump trucks" from KamAZ - both a promising one without an internal combustion engine and the already tested KamAZ-6559, also known as "Jupiter 30".
