The country's main tank assembly line: UVZ showcases trials of T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks

UVZ showcases running and firing tests of tanks

Uralvagonzavod (UVZ), part of the Russian defense industry complex, has placed tanks on a test range. Here, they undergo running and firing tests, as it is necessary to check their suitability for combat before handing over the product to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As explained in the UVZ press service, the tanks are assembled and refined at UVZ before being sent to the training ground. This is the country's main tank assembly line. Here, the transmission, turret, torsion bars, and electronic systems are installed. Some functions in the tanks are improved, taking into account the wishes of the military personnel.

Additional protection of the aft part of the product has been carried out. Side screens have been introduced.

At the same time, control is exercised by representatives of the military commission at each stage of assembly. The acceptance of equipment is carried out around the clock.

In 2023, UVZ promptly supplied the Russian Armed Forces with T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks, and also significantly increased the production of combat vehicles compared to 2022. The plant has now moved on to fulfilling the state defense order for 2024.
