UralVagonZavod (UVZ), part of the Russian defense industry complex, delivered tanks to the test site. Here they undergo mileage and firing tests, since before handing over the product to the Russian Ministry of Defense, it is necessary to check its suitability for combat.
As explained in the press service of UralVagonZavod, before being sent to the training ground, the tanks are assembled and refined at UralVagonZavod. This is the country's main tank assembly line. Here, the transmission, turret, torsion bars and electronic systems are installed. Some functions in tanks are improved taking into account the wishes of military personnel.
Additional protection of the rear of the product has been carried out. Side screens have been introduced.
At the same time, control is carried out at each stage of assembly by representatives of the military commission. The acceptance of equipment is carried out around the clock.
In 2023, UralVagonZavod promptly supplied the Russian Armed Forces with T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks, and also significantly increased the production of combat vehicles compared to 2022. Now the plant has moved on to fulfilling the state defense order for 2024.
