Россия импортозаместила оптику Spectrogon, Andover и Edmund Optics на тепловизорах и системах наведения

These optical infrared filters also work on completely civilian video surveillance equipment

"Roselectronics" holding, part of "Rostec", has developed a line of optical infrared filters for video surveillance equipment, thermal imagers and guidance systems. The products of the holding's "daughter", the Research Institute "Giricond", are designed to work in conditions of poor visibility – in twilight, darkness, fog, in case of smoke, during a sand or snow storm.

The products meet the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, and can be used not only in civilian video surveillance and control systems, but also as part of special-purpose complexes

Interference infrared filters "Amethyst-IR" are mounted on any lens and allow you to get an image in the spectral range from 2 μm to 20 μm. They retain their working properties for 15 years. The filters operate in a temperature range from -60 to 70 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 98%. These and other indicators of the filters are at the level of foreign analogues: Swedish Spectrogon, British Andover, American Edmund Optics.

The Research Institute "Giricond" hopes that they will not be left without orders. Such filters are needed not only for the needs of the Ministry of Defense, which has already approved them for civilian and special use for its own purposes. They will be required at state-owned and private enterprises engaged in optoelectronic instrument engineering and development for its development in Russia.
