In 2023, the Lipetsk Mechanical Plant (LMZ, part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) handed over self-propelled tracked chassis (SGSh) to the customer. All obligations for the supply of the motorized vehicle, designed to accommodate guns, have been fulfilled.
During the tests of the self-propelled tracked chassis, the technical characteristics embedded in them were confirmed.
The plant will fulfill the state contract for this product in 2024
The press service of "Kalashnikov" explained that LMZ produces all modifications of the SGSh, as well as performs their repair and manufactures spare parts. In 2023, the plant mastered the production of new products, including an armored hull for an anti-aircraft missile system, and a dynamic protection kit.
Previously, "Kalashnikov" mastered the production of high-precision spindles - important elements for industry. Such spindles are used on milling machines.
