AvtoVAZ, which recently announced the creation and launch of 12 new car models in various price segments by 2030, is starting to implement its plans.
The upcoming addition to the AvtoVAZ lineup was announced by the company's president, Maxim Sokolov, in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.
We have already said that our product line will be expanding. Including through partner licensed projects. Our plant in St. Petersburg will be producing such projects. It is the one that registered this new brand. Sales under this brand will begin very soon: as early as this spring. They will be in Lada dealerships, but it will be an independent product of the St. Petersburg automobile plant. It will be a completely new brand. You have already seen what it will be like, and the name will be presented very soon.
Sokolov clarified that "X" should still be read as "Iks" (X).
"X" covers more than a hundred items of products and services - from nine positions of cars and transport of various modifications to spare parts, Christmas decorations and after-sales service.
