The Yak-152 light training aircraft, designed for the initial training of pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces, has successfully passed state tests, according to the Yakovlev development company.
The tests were completed at the end of 2023. During the verification, all technical characteristics of the aircraft were confirmed. The next stage will be the process of import substitution of the engine - now the Yak-152 is equipped with German-made engines.
The training system for flight cadets is designed to use two types of aircraft. The first is piston-engine - at the initial stage, the second is jet - to improve aircraft control skills.
