Разрывает колонну танков и ракетную батарею: авиабомбу-невидимку «Дрель» отправят в серийное производство в 2024 году

The latest Rostec aerial bomb has passed testing

The gliding air bomb "Drill", which is invisible on radars, has successfully passed testing. Its mass production will begin in 2024, Rostec reported.

"Drill"

The bomb is designed to destroy military equipment, radar stations, control points of power plants, and anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM).

"Drill" is guided to the target using the "Glonass" satellite system, and then opens and drops 15 combat elements on parachutes, which drill through the armor of equipment and protective structures of the enemy.

One projectile is capable of destroying a column of military equipment, a missile battery, or a radar station. If the striking element of the "Drill" does not work on the intended target, after a while it will self-destruct. Thus, there will be no need to involve specialists in the destruction of the projectile.

Earlier it was reported that Russian engineers had refined Soviet FAB-250 bombs, equipping them with a navigation system.
