Россия модернизировала защищенный санитарный автомобиль «Линза»

The crew and the wounded in "Linza" are now safer

The Ministry of Defense reported on how the "Linza" protected ambulance vehicle was improved in 2023.

ZSA-T "Linza"

This vehicle with bulletproof and mine protection is engaged in the search, collection and evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield and from the centers of man-made disasters. If necessary, the wounded are provided with emergency first aid in the vehicle during transportation.

This is what "Linza" looks like inside. Sometimes the ambulance also travels without the wounded, transporting medical equipment to deploy a medical center for the battalion

It is noted that "Linza" has undergone a change of chassis. The previous version of the ZSA-T "Linza", which was on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Defense, had a chassis from the basic Typhoon-K K-53949 armored vehicle and an independent spring suspension, the new version - ZSA-UK "Linza" - is based on the chassis from KamAZ.

The protection parameters according to the STANAG 4569 gradation up to the fourth class have also been strengthened in the new version. The ZSA-UK "Linza" is ready for shelling from large-caliber machine guns and rifles from 200 meters of 14.5 x 114 mm caliber and detonation near grenades and mines in the equivalent of 10 kg of explosives. At the same time, the cost of one car after modernization has become 1.4 times lower.

Nothing else is known about the changes in the car, and it can be assumed that the ZSA-UK "Linza", like the ZSA-T "Linza", has a KAMAZ-610.10-350 engine with 350 hp and can accelerate up to 105 kilometers per hour if necessary.

Inside the ZSA-T "Linza", three crew members worked, who could take out three lying wounded or six sitting wounded, and most likely, the capacity parameter was also preserved. Most likely, the skills of overcoming obstacles have also been preserved: this is a ditch of at least half a meter, a wall - at least 0.6 meters and 1.5 meters of ford without preparation.

Along with the ZSA-UK "Linza", the Ministry of Defense also operated AP-3 dressing stations. In general, according to the defense department, twenty models of medical equipment and property were developed and adopted for supply in 2023.
