Thousands of leaflets and shells - Russian drones taught to drop new cargo

Revolver-type droppers are serially installed on FPV drones

The Russian Instrument Engineering Design Bureau (KBP) No. 71 has launched mass production of revolver-type droppers for FPV drones.

The development is mounted on drones with a lifting capacity of up to 3 kilograms

According to KBP, the droppers are manufactured in two modifications: with four compartments for 40-mm caliber ammunition and with six compartments for 30-mm shells. If it is to be used for scattering leaflets, a container 40 cm long and 10 cm in diameter is suspended from it. It can hold more than a thousand leaflets.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about another unusual use of combat drones, which can also work in peaceful conditions. During exercises and in combat, drone operators face not only working on a potential enemy and reconnaissance. They are learning to work with drone couriers that transport water, food, and communications equipment to units holding the front line of defense.
