Specialists from Ruselectronics, a part of Rostec, have developed the main components for bone conduction hearing aids. These are elements that are no longer supplied to Russia due to sanctions, according to the corporation's press service.
Such hearing aids are needed for people who have difficulties with sound waves traveling from the outer ear to the inner ear. It is noted that the device is held on the head by an elastic band.
Microphones capture acoustic signals, converting them into electrical signals. Then the signals are processed by the processor, and the bone vibrator transmits them through the bones of the skull to the inner ear.
Ruselectronics products will replace foreign elements of sound amplification devices. Thanks to this, Russian manufacturers will be able to continue producing hearing aids. Rostec Holding has already received an order for the manufacture of the first batch of such elements.
Earlier, Ruselectronics supplied gaming equipment for digital centers in five cities of the country.
