The Design Bureau of the "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec), ahead of schedule, fulfilled the state defense order for the current year for the transfer of Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (SAM system) to the customer.
The enterprise, which is located in Tula, continues to produce military equipment.
According to the holding's press service, the Pantsir-S complex has been improved. Engineers have increased its efficiency in dealing with drones, complex projectiles and long-range missiles. The use of the SAM system has proved the correctness of the designers' calculations.
It was previously reported that Russian anti-aircraft troops will be able to use the Pantsir-S with hypersonic missiles. This refers to the modification of the complex - Pantsir-SM-SV, which was tested in the summer of 2023.
