Kaluga AGR plant starts assembling Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max

The first 120 cars will go to customers at the end of January, in a month and a half

The Kaluga AGR plant has begun large-unit assembly of Chinese Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max cars under the supervision of Chery specialists.

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max acquires a power unit and suspension elements almost manually

So far, the project includes 120 cars, which will be assembled by the end of January 2024. In the future, the number of cars assembled in Kaluga will increase: equipment should arrive for assembling a number of car elements on a finished body.

AGR, however, is not the only one who tried to start a similar cooperation with Chery. At the end of September, «Lada St. Petersburg» completed the assembly of a trial batch of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro crossovers under the Lada badge.

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max began selling in Russia in July this year, and in August it even became the sales leader among Chery models in the country.

However, after that, it seems, the demand for the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max SUV decreased, and in November it became cheaper. However, the price drop also began on other Chery SUVs.
