The GLONASS satellite vehicle monitoring system helps save up to 30% on fuel, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
According to him, Russia pays great attention to the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Thanks to them, it is possible to form safe and efficient logistics in the transportation of people and goods. Chernyshenko stressed that digitalization gives positive results.

Among the advantages of GLONASS are increased driver productivity, quick solutions to transport problems, as well as ensuring the safety of all road users.
Chernyshenko stressed that transport companies, thanks to the introduction of this system, are increasing the volume of services by 25%. This is also reflected in improving the labor discipline of drivers, reducing the cost of car repairs by 10%.
Earlier it was reported that JSC "GLONASS" has its own design bureau. Its first development was a tracker for monitoring the movement of drones and small vessels.
