It is known that in 2024 the state company was expected to develop 7 drone flight routes in Yamal and 21 in Chukotka as part of the 'Unmanned Cargo Delivery' project. Drone parcel carriers could have started operating by the end of this year.

In 2021, the 'Russian Post' announced a planned cooperation with the unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer - the 'Aeromax' company. Cargo delivery in test mode was conducted in the spring of 2023. The route was tested by a drone developed by 'Russian Helicopters' specialists. On their YouTube channel, 'Russian Post' published a video with a drone courier in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
