The Association of Agricultural Producers and Industrialists "InterAgroTech" presented a report on the results of the first agricultural campaign, which was carried out using unmanned tractors "Kirovets" (produced by Petersburg tractor plant, PTZ).
Autonomous systems Cognitive Agro Pilot (development of Russian company Cognitive Pilot), installed on tractors, helped farmers to save almost 30% of all costs for fuel and lubricants, plant protection products, fertilizers and planting material. Farmers noted that the "Kirovets" tractors were especially efficient during planting (savings on seeds amounted to 35%).
The tractors were involved in 17 enterprises from 6 regions of Russia. The benefit from the use of one tractor on average was 2.6 million rubles per year (for a field area of 1000 ha and a working width of the mounted implement on the tractor of 5 m).
In 2024, PTZ plans to increase the volume of production of "Kirovets" to 1 thousand units. Autonomous systems Cognitive Agro Pilot will be installed on previously released tractors by the Petersburg enterprise and on equipment of other manufacturers.
