The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
The launch on October 27 was carried out by specialists from the combat crew of the Space Forces of the Aerospace Forces.
As the department notes, the launch of the medium-class carrier rocket was carried out "in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense."
The Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket is used to put a lot of payloads into low orbits and launch spacecraft into orbit.
According to Roscosmos, from December 27, 2006 to October 27, 2023, 574 spacecraft were launched into orbit using this carrier rocket.
