Tests of the new "Lastochka" electric train of the ES104 series, assembled by "Ural Locomotives", are being completed at the experimental ring of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport in Moscow.
After all acceptance and certification tests are completed, the first 22 copies of these high-speed electric trains will be delivered to Russian Railways.

This model has five cars with 416 seats. The cars are equipped with a microclimate and air disinfection system, and there are lifts for people with limited mobility.
The seats have connectors for charging gadgets.
It is assumed that a line of new Russian electric trains will be created on the basis ofES104. They will be designed for both large cities and regions where there are not so many passengers.
