The Belarusian factory 'Belkommunmash' and the Hydrogen Technology Center (HTC) of the company AFK 'Systema' are developing hydrogen trucks, announced the head of HTC Yuri Dobrovolsky.
According to him, special attention is paid to hydrogen fuel cells with liquid cooling of 100 kW, which are made mainly from Russian components (except for one detail, it is produced in Japan). Dobrovolsky added that 'Belkommunmash' and HTC also plan to produce electrolyzers and hydrogen storage systems.
As MashTech writes, hydrogen trucks are being created based on the Belarusian concept Vitovt Truck Electro Prime. It is expected that the truck will be able to travel on a hydrogen generator up to 1000 km.
The approximate price of such a vehicle with a payload of 12 tons is up to 30 million rubles depending on the configuration. It is noted that by the end of next year a batch of 20 hydrogen trucks will be ready.
It was previously reported that the first in Russia hydrogen-powered electro ship was tested on the Neva.
