The Moscow tourist multi-service RUSSPASS, which has developed into an all-Russian project in a few years, will become the basis for the development of the national portal Russia.Travel. This was written in his personal Telegram channel by the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin.
Together with the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Digital Development, we will form a unified tourism platform that will unite market participants and open up new opportunities for the development of domestic and inbound tourism. We will transfer all our experience and technology to integrate RUSSPASS and Russia.Travel.
RUSSPASS was originally created as a project exclusively for Moscow. Since the summer of 2020, the multi-service has solved all the issues that tourists may have: from buying airline tickets and train tickets to planning free individual excursions and trips around the Russian capital on various modes of transport. Currently, 85 Russian regions from Kaliningrad to Primorye are connected to the service.
Earlier, to develop foreign tourism in Russia, new electronic visas for representatives of 55 countries of the world were launched on August 1. So far, they are only available in English, but it is planned to translate them into at least Chinese and Arabic.
