In the Ramensky city district of the Moscow region, an engineering design office has been launched for the development, design and production of industrial equipment for the recycling of secondary plastic.
The project, which is set to be in full swing within the next five years, is managed by the scientific-production company "POF".
According to the press service of the Moscow Region Development Corporation (MRDC), "POF" already has experience in working with plastic granules using proprietary technology. The necessary equipment for the implementation of their own technology of processing - reactors, mixers, crystallizers, shredders, crushers - was developed by the company itself. And the design office was deployed based on the existing production.
The new large-scale project will require an investment of more than 1 billion rubles. MRDC has agreed to assist in its implementation.
It is noted that the production of equipment for plastic recycling has already been launched. The first orders are from Russia, but in the future, "POF"'s entry into foreign markets is not excluded.
Currently, 35 people are employed at the enterprise. In 2026, new lines for plastic recycling will be launched, and then jobs will appear for 65 more people. It is expected that by this time the plant will reach its design capacity of 1000 tonnes of products per month.
