The authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the creation of a government commission that will address issues related to the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aerial Systems" (UAS) in the region. This is confirmed by the relevant order of the Prime Minister of the Republic Alexey Pesoshin, who headed the commission.
As indicated in the document, top managers of "Aerokron", "Electropribor", "Sumus", the Kazan branch of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, the "Tonkor Technology" center, "Eidos Medicine", "Enix" will become members of the commission by agreement. The listed companies are associated with the production of aviation and unmanned products.
On Wednesday, October 4, the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg passed in the third reading a bill that provides for priority support for drone development. The document supplements the law "On the Basics of Scientific and Technical Policy of St. Petersburg".
A number of companies that are engaged in the development of UAS are operating in the Northern capital. Among them is the AMB, which has developed engines for drones.
