The UAV 'Admiral' for transporting reconnaissance drones has appeared

The Russian company 'Svyaz SpecZaschita' has demonstrated the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) 'Admiral' for the transportation of reconnaissance drones 'Boets-7' at a conference on the development of unmanned aviation systems (UAS) at the TsAGI named after Zhukovsky. The event took place in Zhukovsky near Moscow.

 The set includes a ground control station with a technical vision system that recognizes objects. 

It is known that 'Admiral' can be in the air for up to 4 hours, as well as fly at a distance of up to 400 km. The drone is capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h. 

In the near future, developers plan to increase the payload that the drone can carry. In addition, specialists from 'Svyaz SpecZaschita' want to equip 'Admiral' with a relay communication system.

'Admiral' was also shown at the international forum 'Army-2023' in Kubinka near Moscow.

It was previously reported that in Skoltech, a walking drone MorphoLander was developed, which carries small-sized drones on itself.
