Retailer Ozon, together with VK, has developed an operating system (OS) for Russian 'smart' TVs Hartens. The Ozon TV shell will include Marusya voice assistant, RuStore app store, and other VK services.
As noted by the press service of the company, it is planned to release more than 25 thousand devices based on Ozon TV by the end of 2023. It is known that specialists of the Russian company “Quant” which manufactures TVs, also participated in the development of the shell.
Hartens TVs are produced since 2021 at the ‘Quant’ factory in Voronezh. The enterprise, which also has production capacities in Zelenograd, assembles around 3.5 thousand televisions per shift. Depending on the diagonal, the price of Hartens TV on marketplaces varies on average from 6 thousand rubles to 55 thousand rubles.
