Передовой российский танк «Армата» доработают перед началом серийного производства

"Armatas" to be Supplied to Troops Starting Next Year

Viktor Murakhovsky, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Arsenal of the Fatherland," stated that the Russian advanced T-14 "Armata" tank will be refined, after which mass deliveries to the troops will begin.

The "Armata" tanks will undergo refinement of electronic systems. After that, they are planned to be put into series production and, starting next year, begin to be supplied to the troops.

The expert believes that the T-14 "Armata" should operate in unified formations (company-battalion) in conjunction with the heavy infantry fighting vehicle T-15 "Barbaris" and the armored recovery vehicle T-16. All of them are built on a universal tracked platform.

Murakhovsky added that today the tank remains the most stable vehicle of the forward edge, capable of effectively operating on the battlefield, maintaining combat capability under the influence of various enemy fire weapons, and there is no alternative to tanks in terms of breaking through enemy defenses yet.
